Tai Chi for Health

Logan Tai Chi aims to provide classes the whole community can access. Under our Tai Chi in the park program we want people to utilise the open spaces Logan Council provides to residents.  This is a way we can reach the people that need quick access.

We do cater for those who prefer indoors but limited to Springwood or Jimboomba.  And also, for the elderly who are bound to their immediate environment (care facilities).  Most people we encounter seem to enjoy performing their Tai Chi outdoors in natural surroundings.

Tai Chi Classes in Logan

Situated south of the Brisbane metropolitan area in South East Queensland, Logan is a fast-growing local government area.  It lies between the City of Brisbane to the north and the City of Gold Coast to the south, and borders the Scenic Rim between the Ipswich, and the Redland Bay region.

People search for Tai Chi near me or Tai Chi in Logan.  Logan Tai Chi runs classes for adults in Council Parks, Community Centers, Retirement Villages and Care Facilities throughout the Logan Shire Region. We have Tai Chi for Seniors classes which are inclusive of participants from all sectors including disability services.

We are proudly sponsored by Logan City Council under the Live Well Logan Community Support Program. Logan Tai Chi has classes in parks at Greenbank, Regents Park, Spring Mountain Reserve and Logan Village Green. And from January 2020 we are back in the Community Centre at Jimboomba Library.

Classes are also available in Springwood at a private facility. Bookings for all locations is essential.

About Logan Tai Chi

A gentle exercise program requires that we introduce participants at a pace relevant to their fitness level.

Tai Chi and Qigong have been interwoven to produce a fitness program that anyone can learn. Our participants are aged 18 – 80 plus. Anybody can join this program at any time without fear of being a beginner.

Our reputation for delivering quality education is growing. Participants are rewarded in many ways as they progress.

What Our Students Have to Say

Thoroughly enjoying my time at Tai Chi. Just one hour away from the daily grind is great at any time. The relaxing atmosphere and gentle movent exercise program really is like meditation.
When I first heard about classes in Logan I jumped at the chance. I'd heard so much about the health benefits. Anxiety was my enemy but since practicing to breathe correctly it helps so much.
I'd lead such a busy life as an executive before I retired. I was at a loose end before I started this program. I now realise how much my inner organs needed help. And such relaxing movements.
I had tried Tai Chi a couple of times before this. But each time would be the same. The teacher would just say follow what I do. Nobody had ever explained things the movements like this program does.
